About The Gittins - Robbins Family
Hello, Welcome to our family tree website. Feel free to add your family members, share stories and
upload pictures as you navigate the site.

A big thanks goes out to Connie Matteson, she sent in information about our Uncle Nick Wilson. Elijah Nicholas (Nick) Wilson came across the US in an OX cart to the Salt Lake valley as a child in
the mid 1850's. He wrote a book titled "The White Indian Boy" about his life which includes stories of
early pioneer life in Utah, living with the Shoshone Indians, riding for the pony express - and mentions that he even founded the town of Wilson Wyoming. The book is a great read. There's also a
Movie on Dvd that is based loosely on his life.

Here is a search on Amazon that will list all the book and DVD offerings regarding Uncle Nick.

Click the links that say "Look inside" to read the intro or part of a chapter. Some search results will list
"The White Indian Boy" and its sequel "The Return of the White Indian Boy". The first book was written by Uncle
Nicks and the second book was written by his son Charles A Wilson describing adventures Nick had later in
life. You can find these books here:

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
